CHECK OUT THE 2017 XFINITY SERIES RULES BELOW:

>>The Xfinity series will run with the old NASCAR points system and bonus points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a lap led, 1 point for most laps led).

>>Restarts will be single file.  Lapped cars may line up on the inside as the original game rules allow. There is no passing before the exit of turn 2 unless there are 10 or less laps to go. (Lapped cars racing to get a lap back are allowed to race for that lap)

>>The lucky dog is in effect for the first car one lap or more down when the caution occurred.  If that driver caused the caution, the lucky dog goes to the next lapped car. The lucky dog can pit when the game allows. When returning to the track, annouce that the LD is coming around the high side and drive up to the leader and pace car.  On the "one to go" lap, pass the pace car to come around to the back of the field, behind any wave-around cars. Ignore your spotter. The admin will clear the black flag after the restart.  The lucky dog will be awarded on all restarts.

>>Wave-Arounds are in effect if you are a lap or more down, do not pit, and are between the leader and pace car. On the one-to-go lap, pass the pace car and come around to the back of the field. Please announce your number and that you are taking a wave-around. The admin will clear the black flag.  Wave-arounds are available on all restarts.

>>For a restart with less than 10 laps to go, all lapped cars except the lucky dog and wave-arounds must drive thru the pits at pit road speed on the 3rd caution lap, maintaining their order thru the pits. This will ensure that the lead lap drivers will have the opportunity to compete for the win.  The lucky dog and wave-arounds will be driving around to the catch up to the pack.  Note that there will rarely be a wave-around in this instance as the leader is unlikely to pit.

>>Drivers will need to serve their game assessed black flag penalty.  If you pass a car going into the pits while under caution, the admins will not clear that black flag.  The admin does have discretion to clear a black flag where there is confusion on getting the cars properly lined up before entering the pits.  The admin may also manually clear the black flag if you announce that you have made two attempts to clear and it has not cleared.

>>If you cause a caution, please acknowledge it, and make every effort to be at the end of the longest line for the restart by driving through pit road on the one to go lap and wait for other cars to exit before exiting. If more than one driver is involved and you agree that it was a 'racing deal', both drivers should be at the end of the longest line. A minimum 5 point penalty will be assessed if a review shows that you did not make a reasonable effort to be at the end of the line. The only cars behind you should be the LD and wave-arounds.

>>If you are disconnected from the server during the race, consider it a mechanical malfunction that you needed to return to the garage to fix.  We will not give laps back for a disconnect, although they may be earned via lucky dogs or wave-arounds.

>>We will not provide provisional points for a missed race.

>>Where it is not mentioned here, the rules from the SMO Rules Page will apply.

* AN ADMIN will determine which version of the tracks will be ran for this segment, if it's not posted in the forums prior to race, then it will probably be GAME track. *
